Q: “Solar power is great, but the sun goes down at night, we need power 24 hours per day”

A: There are many sources of clean Renewable Energy. For instance, how about generating Solar power during the day, and using Geothermal Energy at night? In addition to low-output shallow well technology for homes and businesses, there are several thousand sites around the world where hot magma passes close enough to the surface to heat steam for multi-GW power plants. We have the technology, it just takes the WILL to get off burning polluting fossil fuels, and on to clean, life sustaining energy sources.

Q: “Those big 18-wheel diesel trucks put out a lot of smoke, but it dissipates, so it’s not really that harmful right ?”

A: If it were just 100, or 1,000 or even 100,000 trucks, the effect would be managable. However, when you consider there are over 370 million commercial vehicles, and another 1 BILLION passenger cars, you can see why the global atmospheric toxicity for human life has become hazardous. Why are we no longer allowed to smoke tobacco around other people in a confined space ? Because tobacco smoke is harmful. When are we all going to learn that the Earth's atmosphere IS a confined space for ALL of us. Why not just stop spewing chemicals into the air we rely on for our very survival -- isn't that just common sense ?

Q: “I’ve heard that Natural Gas is a ‘clean’ alternative to burning coal”

A: Sure, converting Coal-fired power plants to Natural Gas is a good start, and certainly okay if we are willing to accept half-measures. But why are we burning ANY ancient stored solar energy (fossil fuels) for power production, when enough solar energy hits the earth in ONE HOUR to power human needs for the entire YEAR ?

Q: “My news channel insists that Climate Change is a hoax, and I believe them. So I don’t want to get involved”

A: We have found that it is not very effective to try to convince naysayers. But if you have -- or plan to have children -- you should consider the following:
“Many scientists are concerned that thawing permafrost could be a tipping point that triggers an irreversible cycle: When permafrost releases its carbon as CO2 or methane, it will accelerate warming, which will then precipitate more permafrost thaw, and so on. There will be nothing humans can do to stop it.”

Q: “OK, this concept looks good, but if I donate to the effort, how do I benefit?”

A: The EOS Community member will benefit in two principal ways:
First, you are doing your part to support the development of low pollution, low carbon output technologies. As a result, you and your family (and the wildlife around you) will breathe easier, and you are helping to prevent the permafrost methane tipping point from triggering and putting the very future of the human race in jeopardy.
Second, with nearly $20 TRILLION to be spent in the coming two decades in this mega-conglomerate of industries, if all blockchain solutions are built on the Ethereum platform, then the ETH token will become the defacto global currency standard. If we all pull together to move with strength into these industries, our collective EOS token holdings will simply become more valuable, eventually helping EOS to rise to the number one global currency position.

Q: “But, what can I do, I’m just one person -- how can I make a difference?”

A: The migration to a clean, sustainable future for our children and grandchildren will take an effort from EVERYONE. Thinking that “Someone else will take care of it” … or “Meh, technology will solve our problems”, is not going to cut it, and yes, time is in fact running out.
We will never solve our global existential crises without effort from the whole team.
Can you imagine what we could do if every eco-aware EOS developer donated a few hours per week into the project… or if every EOS holder donated 1 token to the cause ?

A: We believe in full transparency.
Inputs / Receipts: Using a block explorer, in real time, you will be able to review our balance and see what donations we have received.
Outputs / Expenditures: Beginning in Q1, 2019, we will publish a quarterly report showing our use of proceeds for the past 90 days.
